In the paper goods world, we sometimes forget that we have this insider language that you may not know and that's totally normal! But, that's what I'm here to guide you through. So, let's do this
Save the Date
These are typically sent out 6-9 months ahead of the wedding date. You're essentially just letting your guests know, "Hey this is the date we're getting married! Make sure not to make plans on this date". It usually only includes the date of the wedding, names of the couple and the city and state of the wedding.

The Wedding Suite
This typically includes a formal invitation with all the wedding and reception day information, an RSVP card, a details card, and potentially another like a directions or rehearsal dinner card. It's packaged up prettily like all of the photos you see on Pinterest and sent to your guests so they can properly plan. It's also the first impression your guests have of your wedding day. This is why it's important to make sure your wedding suite reflects the vision of your day or of you as a couple!
A lot of couples opt to send the RSVP with a website to RSVP at - saves paper and time!
The details card is a popular place to put you registry and travel information like hotel blocks, parking, etc.
